Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress, born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of 5, she left Morocco for California. She received her big break acting upon graduation from the University of California San Diego, in 2015. Pernas, who had made small appearances in NCIS as well as Leverage prior to her debut in the role as Marisa in The Young and the Restless and was an established name on the soap. After her exit from the soap-opera Jane the Virgin in 2016 The actress was appointed as Catalina, a character who featured on the show often. A model with four different languages capabilities has been seen as Hannah Rivera on The Brave since the year 2016. The Green Ghost in 2017 and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. The actress played Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly reported in May 2020, that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. The relationship began after the This Is Us star split with her wife Chrishell Stause November 2019. News broke on May 20, 2021, that Pernas and Hartley were recently married with a private ceremony.
