Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is an American actress fashion designer and model. When she began her career as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing as a guest on 90's programs on television like Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her film debut came in 1997's drama film Nowhere. The actress made her way to major roles with her performances on American Beauty for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which brought the attention of film critics. Since then she appeared in Loser (2000) together with American Pie co-star Jason Biggs as well as later, she played the lead character in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). The film also featured her in the independent drama Spun and the 2004 thriller film Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO television drama Six Feet Under. The show aired in 2004. In 2008 she was featured in several films like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh or the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari appears in models in Lancome Paris Adaptive and she's been in a variety of blogs and magazines such as Vogue. Suvari has been a defender and advocates of the African Medical and Research Foundation, a prestigious organisation that helps provide relief to Africa. Additionally, she has been active in female empowerment issues and is involved with charities which are dedicated to fighting breast cancer, and the End Violence Against Women campaign. She is most well-known for her work in television series like Dark Angel Heroes the Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper or Rookie Blue. Her work has been featured in high-profile merchandise like Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada or the Olympics. The filmography of Missy includes Stick It Backcountry Something Red and Wide Awake. Missy did very well in all three films because she's an accomplished actress. Missy is an incredibly generous lady.
