Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is an American actress fashion designer and model. Following a brief time modeling fashions and then a transition to acting as guest stars on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s and High Incident. She made her film debut in 1997's drama film Nowhere. The actress made her way to leading roles after her performances of American Beauty for which she received nominations for a BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered an international audience. After that, she starred as a co-star in Loser (2000) with her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and then played the principal role in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). Her appearances were in the 2002 independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action film Trauma. She also appeared in the HBO drama Six Feet Under. The show aired in 2004. She was also cast in Day of The Dead, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, as well as the film version of The Garden of Eden.
