Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th the 28th of October, 1967. Julia Fona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts who reside in Atlanta. In the early years of his life his father became obsessed by the theater. While a student at Emory University he appeared in various productions both on and off the campus. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the air force. In 1955, they got married and in 1956 their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter along with his wife quit the Air Force in the year 1957 and enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter was employed to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the show Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed on their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for six years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
